The Maersk Company Limited is one of the largest intermodal transport providers in the UK. We offer a range of container-related services to customers, including liner shipping, logistics, haulage and container storage and repair.

Over the last 40 years, our business has gone from strength to strength. Before the 1960s, shipping was difficult, expensive and irregular. However, the industry was revolutionised in 1956 by the introduction of ocean containerisation. The Maersk Company Limited began trading as a General Office to the Maersk Line in 1951, and quickly became involved in all aspects of containerised transport, The Maersk Company Limited has since built up a wide body of knowledge and expertise in the field.
