Environment and Community

The Maersk Company Limited is committed to the protection and conservation of the environment, striving for the highest environmental and safety standards within the industry.

To further this goal, we have established working groups, such as Maersk Line’s Environmental Reference Group, with the aim of expanding and improving our environmental policies and procedures.

In addition, at a global level, the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group also takes an active role in numerous international committees. These include the Clean Cargo Working Group and Business for Social Responsibility, a global business association that allows us to gain access to expertise in a broad range of environmental and social responsibility issues.
