Nigel Pusey takes over as CEO of The Maersk Company Ltd

As of 1 September, Nigel Pusey has taken over the role of CEO of The Maersk Company Ltd as Jesper Kjaedegaard steps down. Jesper Kjaedegaard will maintain strong links with the A.P. Moller – Maersk group in the UK and will join the board of The Maersk Company as a non-executive director as well as being available for other board and advisory roles in the UK.

The Maersk Company Ltd is a UK registered company, started in 1951, and is an umbrella organisation for a number of different A.P. Moller – Maersk businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Nigel Pusey will take on the role in addition to his primary responsibility as global CEO of Container Inland Services based in London, UK and commented:

“I’m pleased to be taking on the role of CEO of The Maersk Company Ltd and am looking forward to working with the many different A.P. Moller – Maersk businesses here in the UK”.
