Our Fleet

The first vessel to be owned by The Maersk Company Limited was purchased in 1972. Since then The Maersk Company Limited fleet has grown into one of the largest privately owned fleets in the United Kingdom.

The majority of the fleet is comprised of container vessels and supply vessels but we also own a number of product carriers. We are proud of our constant program of fleet renewal that helps us to keep the current average age of our vessels below 10 years.

The Maersk Company Limited currently deals with 73 vessels in total which are either owned by our Shipping Division or managed by our subsidiary crew services provider, Maersk Marine Services Limited, based in Newcastle.
